SAXOPHONE TEACHER: Bryan Scheidecker
Bryan is an outgoing and friendly Teacher, with a flair for performance. He plays all the saxophones, including soprano and alto, and has been a guest performer in our own Mt. Sac Jazz Band with several Latin Jazz greats, most recently Pancho Sanchez. Bryan is currently performing in the Jazz, Funk, and R&B styles with the group Xenophonic, and also exploring Rock and Blues rhythms with Lorenz and the Brats. One of his best traits as a Teacher shines through when his students are grasping new techniques-- patience, patience, patience!

• Soprano Saxophone Soloist with Celine Dion 1999 at the Hollywood Bowl
• Performances with Jazz on the Latin Side All-Stars 2006
• Team Member with the Vic Firth Educational Department and Kaman Music
• Currently attending Master Classes in Saxophone Performance with Steve Wilkerson
